Be prepared for cool backcountry weather, especially in evening. Berries should be ripening in late September this year. Hoping for abundant blueberries.

Bring bear-proof food storage container or pick up loaner canister at Glacier RS.

Douglas Fir & Silver Fir CGs will be closed.

Driving Directions to Glacier Ranger Stn: From I-5 in Bellingham, take Sunset/Mt Baker exit for the Mount Baker Highway (State Route 542) east for 34 miles to the Glacier Ranger Stn. Allow approx 2.5 - 3 hrs drive time from Seattle.
