Signup priority through 6/5 for Seattle backpack class students only. Sign up opens 6/6 to all Mountaineers. Minimum 4 required.

Trip length is approximately 6-12 miles round trip to camp, with option for a short to medium length hike from camp. Specific camp and distance will be determined based on skill level of participants and available backcountry camps.

Trail conditions good, snowfree over the trail distance we'll travel.

Bring rope (50-100')to hang food bag or food canister for backcountry food storage.

Friday car camping recommended at Newhalem CG, Colonial Crk CG.

A trailhead or national park pass is not required. Leader will obtain backcountry camp permit for group.
