Meet at Noon Friday at the Olympic National Park Wilderness Information Center in Port Angeles.

This is an opportunity for a relaxing full day on a beautiful coastal beach only accessible by foot, but with an easy 1.7 mile backpack in, with little elevation gain.  We will camp both Friday and Saturday nights at the same location, leaving all day Saturday to explore the beach and observe interesting marine life at low tides.   Bring frisbees, kites, swim suits and smores material.  This is an excellent trip for families with young children.  On Friday at the Wilderness Information Center in Port Angeles we will pay camp, Park and canister fees and those without them will pick up required bear canisters.  There will then be a 90 minute drive to the trailhead near La Push.  On the return home, those renting canisters from the WIC will need to stop there to return them.
