Start from Holden Village, down to Spider Gap, up through the Napeequa, and hopefully a day in Miner’s Ridge.

We’ll hike from Holden Village clockwise towards Spider Gap, then head toward Little Giant Pass. From there we’ll ascend north through the Napeequa Valley, take in some off-trails, hit Miner’s Ridge if the trail is open, then head back toward Holden’s Village.
Field’s Point Dock on Saturday night. Catch the Sunday 8:30 a.m. Lady Express to Lucerne, take bus from Lucerne to Holden Village. Hike from there.

Required Equipment
The Ten Essentials plus overnight gear which may include:
- Tent with footprint/ground tarp
- Stove and fuel
- Sleeping bag
- Sleeping pad
- Water filter
- Bear canister, Ursak, or extra stuff sack and cord designated for hanging food. Strongly suggest rodent-proof bag.
- Cooking pot/pan with plate and utensils
- Toilet paper and shovel or blue bag to deal with waste
