Pete Lake TH, 9 am

Expect outstanding views and a nice relaxing weekend in the Alpine Lakes wilderness.  We may have to ford Lemah Creek so trekking poles and wading shoes are recommended, also bug spray.  Time and group condition pending, we might explore a bit Saturday after setting up camp.  Heading up to the top of Chikamin Ridge and look down at the Park Lakes.  For those willing, on the return on Sunday, we'll stop some place for dinner.

Carpooling recommended, we'll meet at a parking lot, likely in North Bend TBD.

This backpack is open to all individuals over 18 years of age.  The trip is also part of the Foothills Branch B3 Backpacking Building Blocks course, and will qualify B3 enrollees for automatic course credit, although any club member may register.

This will also  be a "mentor" backpack, with existing and experienced leader Dale Shoup mentoring new leader Joe Osowski.
