This trip is intended to be a very social trip.  Day 1 we set up camp and stay there til Sunday.  We'll sleep til whenever and do whatever on the beach.  There will be campfires and games and such.  We may opt to go for a stroll down the beach or to explore the tidepools.  I will ask that if folks want to go off on their own that they at least take a buddy.

Of course this trip may be canceled or rescheduled if heavy/persistent rain would make this trip uncomfortable but I intend on bringing tarps.  Potluck on night 1 is encouraged.

I'm probably going to camp or motel near Forks Thursday night.  Whoever drives will need to pay for a Makah permit ($10) and private parking ($10/night) plus the $8/night backcountry permit.

** NOTE ** This trip is *NOT* recommended if:
- you prefer to read in your tent the rest of the day once you get in camp (this trip is meant for those that like to be social)
- you like to keep to yourself on a hike and would prefer not to talk to others
- you are awake earlier than 5am and get bored waiting for other folks to wake up
