8:00 AM at 65th Street Park and Ride
Hi, Mark and I want to lead this coming weekend (08/19/2006 –08/20/2006) a backpack trip to Sheep Lake. (Nannie Ridge/ Sheep Lake, Book 100 hies in the South Cascades, Hike 47). The round trip to Sheep Lake is 12 miles. Elevation gain 2300 feet. There should be some assume views of Adams, St. Helens, Gilbert Peak and vast meadows. We will camp at Sheep Lake. We want to meet Saturday morning at 8 am at the North side of 65th street Park and Ride. This is a moderate hike and beginners are welcome. Email me or give me a call if you want more information (206- 547-2893 – sorry this is only a home phone, as I still don't have a cell). Please sign up via the Mountaineers web page or call the clubhouse at 206-284-8484. Looking forward for an assume weekend in the sun. (-: Anke
