This is a three day, two night backpack trip with a short hike in and minimal elevation gain on an excellent trail to the most beautiful beach on the Washington Coast. At two low tides we'll be able to explore interesting marine life. This is a good hike for families with young children and a good first backpack trip for those new to this activity. There is no parking permit required, but camp fees are $5 for the group plus $2 per person per night. The camp fees are reduced 50% for those with a Park Pass. Bear canisters are required for food storage. They can be rented at the WIC in Port Angeles.
