Meet at the White River Wilderness Information Center at 8 AM. Please keep in mind that MRNP is highly congested on summer weekends, so plan to arrive early to avoid the long lines at the entrance booth.

Due to the first-come, first-served nature of wilderness camping permits at MRNP, trip participants must be flexible and willing to hike to an alternate backcountry camp with a similar distance and elevation gain. Regardless of our final destination, our starting location will remain at the White River Wilderness Information Center.

Goals for the trip:

1. Be safe.
2. Have Fun.
3. Make it to the backcountry campsite.
4. Stay together as a group.

Participant expectations:

1. Be respectful to all trip members.
2. Be willing to speak up and participate in group decision-making.
3. Leave no trace.
