Some concerns about this trip:
This trip requires walking on rocks that are covered in seaweed which are often pretty slippery. Also, this trip requires climbing headlands on makeshift stairs, rope ladders, or just using a rope (not like rock climbing, just to help you get up the slippery & steep hills). In general beach hikes tend to be muddy and the hills are slippery so those who might have issues going up or coming down steep hills (sort of like exposure) might have a difficult time with this trip. There is one 3-mile headland hike (when you climb up a steep hill, walk 3 miles, then climb back down to the beach) which we'll have to do each way.  Then we'll hike to one of 4 possible camps.

** BEAR CANS AND FILTERS ARE MANDATORY AND REQUIRED BY THE NATIONAL PARK **

** We will hike at a slow to moderate pace, taking frequent breaks - photography is encouraged.  To keep the group together we may opt to have the slowest hiker lead.

** We will stop for an extended lunch (~20 minutes) or when we get to camp.

** We will break camp and head back to our cars Sunday morning around 9am.

I'll be driving up Friday afternoon and staying at Bogachiel State Park if anyone wants to join me for a campfire and some dinner.

** NOTE ** This trip is *NOT* recommended if:
- you prefer to read in your tent the rest of the day once you get in camp (this trip is meant for those that like to be social)
- you like to keep to yourself on a hike and would prefer not to talk to others
- you are awake earlier than 5am and get bored waiting for other folks to wake up
- you don't like, or have problems with, hiking at a slower pace
- you have issues with getting muddy
