Charlie's Cafe in Enumclaw (1335 Roosevelt Ave E)

We will leave Charlie's no later than 7:45 AM (July 22).  I plan to arrive earlier so I can have breakfast.

This is not a hard mileage trip but the elevation gain and loss and gain again on the third and forth day will be tiring.  Because this is early in the season, I would suggest having “boot chains” or other traction device available.  I will not have an ice axe and we will turn around instead of trying anything technical.  I'm adding an extra day for a side trip above Mystic Lake toward Curtis Ridge.  The Dick Creek Camp does not have a lot of room, so you'll need to be "flexible".  The last two days will be zone camping.  Grand Park is one of my favorite spots in the park.  Our trailhead is Sunrise.  Out campsites will be at Mystic Lake, Dick Creek, Crescent Lake Cross Country Zone and Grand Park Cross Country Zone.  You will need to carry water into Grand Park.

If you're not sure if this trip is appropriate for you, send me an email and I can give you more details.
