Meet at 10 am with gear ready to go at the Tucquala Meadows Trailhead. The road here is generally in poor shape and occasionally may require a high clearance vehicle. I will check the status of the road about a week before the trip date and send an email -

Northwest Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Pass required at trailhead

Look forward to an easy going 9 miles, 2826 feet of elevation gain, into the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, where we'll set up camp at Marmot Lake. The following day, we will hike up a steep, rocky gully (1.2mi with 840 feet of gain) to explore Jade Lake (potentially Clarice Lake if there is time and interest) and take time to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Due to the timing of this backpack it might potentially be incredibly buggy. I'll check conditions closer to the trip day and send out a more detailed email the week before.

There are toilets at Hyas, Marmot and Jade Lakes.
