This is an incredibly challenging route. This will be a slow grind to Marmot Lake. This will be a student focused trip and we will travel slow and take frequent breaks as needed.

Day1- 9 miles, 2500 feet of elevation gain, 978 feet of elevation lost.  Please note that the first  3 miles are nearly flatNearly all the elevation gain are in Day 1 are between miles 3.6 and Marmot Lake.

Day 2- A little over a mile and 728 feet of elevation gain. We will pack up after breakfast and move up to Jade Lake.  Hike is a little over a mile but the route is hard to follow.  We will make camp for night 2 and enjoy Jade Lake

Day 3- 10 miles, 1098 feet of elevation gain, 3320 feet of loss.   We will plan to break camp early and make our 10 mile descent back to the trial head. Due to the steep nature of the decent, we will plan for frequent breaks to give the knees a break.  Anticipate that day 3 will be long and moderately slow.

More details will be sent in the hello hiker email.
