Come participate in the annual cleanup along a beautiful coastal section of Olympic National Park. This trip is organized in conjunction with Washington CoastSavers, although this is a Mountaineers trip. It will rain, but there will also be beautiful blue skies, and eagles flying around above us. We will pick up plastic bottles and parts of fishing nets that have washed in during Winter storms. It is the easiest scavenger hunt that you will ever participate in, and you'll feel great doing it. There will be plenty of time for long walks on the beach, good conversation, philosophisizing, and making grand plans for the coming summer months. Kids are welcome.

At present, I am spending a lot of time in Portland with my father, who is dying, and my mother. I am not sure if I will be able to lead this trip so you should sign up for Mary Rohlman's trip to Cape Alava and sign up for the waiting list for her trip.
