Pariticipate in the Olympic National Park Beach Cleanup, and enjoy the beautiful April weather and low tide at the coast. Depart 7:30 am from Seattle, park the cars at Ozette, hike 3 miles on a boardwalk to get to Sand Point. Pick up fishing net remnants and floats, plastic bottles, and the like that have floated in during the winter (http://www.olympiccoastcleanup.us); and enjoy camping on the coast. Optionally, we'll hike to Cape Alava on Sunday and hike back to the cars from there. We'll get back to Seattle at 9pm-ish on Sunday. Ferry, gas, permit fees can total $40/person.
