Backpack - Lake Lillian, Rampart & Lila Lakes
Get ready for amazing fall colors. We will start at Lake Lillian trailhead and hike through the Alpine Lake Wilderness at Snoqualmie Pass. The first day will be 7 miles and 3,524 in elevation where we will arrive at Lila Lake for camp.

We will meet at the trailhead at 8 am.
Getting There
Exit I-90 at Hyak exit 54. If you are coming from Seattle, turn left at the stop sign at the end of the ramp. Proceed under the highway and continue a short distance to a stop sign. Reset your odometer here and turn right onto Gold Creek Road.
This road will parallel the highway for a while before turning up into the hills (road called FS 4832, Rocky Run Rd). At 2.5 miles it will turn to dirt. At 3.8 miles there will be a left turn; DO NOT TAKE IT. At 3.9 miles take the left fork. At 4.3 miles you will reach the parking lot on your left. The trail begins a hundred yards or so up on the left.

Northwest Forest PassThe first day we start at Lake Lillian Trailhead and hike along multiple lakes before reaching Lila Lake where we will set up camp. The next day we will climb Alta Mountain and explore the surrounding areas.

Required Equipment
The Ten Essentials plus overnight gear which may include:
- Tent with footprint/ground tarp
- Stove and fuel
- Sleeping bag
- Sleeping pad
- Water filter
- Bear canister or extra stuff sack and cord designated for hanging food
- Cooking pot/pan with plate and utensils
- Toilet paper and shovel or blue bag to deal with waste
