Leader will be unavailable May 24 – June 1; available by phone & email before and after those dates.

Beginning backpackers are especially welcome on this trip. We will hike along Ingalls Creek, enjoying early summer flowers and views of the high peaks of the Stuart Range. We will camp at Falls Creek Camp, about 5.5 miles in at an elevation of 3,200 feet. Option to continue further up the trail after setting up camp. Leader will email registered trip members to plan trip logistics, supply sharing, and carpooling to/from the trailhead.

To get to the trailhead from Seattle, drive east on Interstate 90 to Exit 85 (Highway 970 N, which merges with Highway 97). About 12 miles N of Blewett Pass, turn left at milepost 178 onto Ingalls Creek Road. Cross Peshastin Creek, bear left, then continue for 12 mi to the trailhead. NW Forest Pass required to park at trailhead. Allow 2.5 hours drive time from Seattle.
