Backpack - Gray Wolf–Dosewalips–Cameron Loop
Epic one week trip covering the 5 passes of the North-Central Olympics. Views, berries, wildlife, solitute. Clockwise loop from Obstruction Point to Deer Park, Gray Wolf Pass, Hayden Pass, Lost Pass, Cameron Pass and Grand Pass. Very Challenging.

Preliminary itineray:
Day 1 Obstruction Point TH to Deer Park and down to the Gray Wolf River and Three Forks camp
Day 2 Three Forks camp to Cedar Lake
Day 3 Cedar Lake, over Gray Wolf Pass to Dose Meadows camp
Day 4 Spend second night at Dose Meadows, day hike to Hayden Pass, Sentinel Peak and/or 1000 Acre Meadows
Day 5 Head over Lost and Cameron Pass to Upper Cameron camp
Day 6 Upper Cameron down to the Cameron Creek and up to Grand Pass, camp at Moose or Gladys Lake camps
Day 7 Hike up to Obstruction Point TH, drive home.
Lots of up and down. More details will be forthcoming. Participants need to demonstrate excellent conditioning and have completed several prior trips this summer and have completed prior trip of 3 nights or longer. Need to be comfortable with some off-trail wanderings and explorations. Leader's permission required. E-mail me with your qualifications. I will be out of internet range 8/12-18.

Required Equipment
The Ten Essentials plus overnight gear which may include:
- Tent with footprint/ground tarp
- Stove and fuel
- Sleeping bag
- Sleeping pad
- Water filter
- Bear canister and cord designated for hanging food
- Cooking pot/pan with plate and utensils
- Toilet paper and shovel or blue bag to deal with waste
- Food for 7 days
- Full rain gear and pack cover
