Group carpool arrangements will made within the group after the group is selected.  Plan on being on the trail around 9-9:30am Friday morning in Joseph, Oregon.  This will require a drive over on Thursday to get you closer to Joseph, Oregon, which is approximately 2 hrs beyond Walla Walla, Washington

Day 1 Destination Ice Lake 7.71 miles 3214 elevation gain, 

Day 2 Destination Horseshoe Lake 11.88 miles, 1603' elevation gain, 2319' elevation loss, 

Day 3 Destination Razz & Mirror Lake, 8.37 miles, 1703' elevation gain, 1241' elevation loss, 8.75 hours travel time

Day 4 Destination Eagle Cap / Glacier Lake, 6.84 miles, 3027' elevation gain, 2456' elevation loss, 8.5 hours travel time

Day 5 Destination Frazier Lake, 6.7 miles, 749' elevation gain, 1788 elevation loss, 6.5 hrs travel time

Day 6 Hike out 10.4 miles, elevation loss of 2492

The Ten Essentials plus overnight gear which may include:

  • Tent with footprint/ground tarp
  • Stove and fuel
  • Sleeping bag
  • Sleeping pad
  • Water filter
  • Bear canister or extra stuff sack and cord designated for hanging food
  • Cooking pot/pan with plate and utensils
  • Toilet paper and shovel or blue bag to deal with waste
