Backpack - Duckabush River
Backpacking trip along the Duckabush River. Enjoy a one-night backpack to Five Mile Camp. This is a mentored lead backpack for Joe Natterer. The location changed to Lower Lena Lake due to the 2620 (Mt Jupiter area) fire that has closed the Duckabush trailhead/area.

Note (27 Aug 2024): The US Forest Service has recently closed the trails around the Duckabush area due to the Mt. Jupiter fire (renamed the 2620 fire). The complete document is linked below. (The information is also posted on recreation.gov when seeking a backcountry permit in the Olympics.) Even with the recent rains from last week, I expect the Duckabush trails to still be closed on 7-8 Sep.
