This is a great destination for folks new to backpacking!  No need to carry lots of water - we'll be in sight of the beautiful Dosewallips River most of the trip.  I expect to see lots of wildflowers. A very peaceful place with an easy to follow trail.  We'll set-up base camp on Saturday, then day-hike further up the trail on Sunday.
