** LEADERS PERMISSION REQUIRED ONLY SO I CAN BE SURE TO TALK TO ALL WHO SIGN UP ** (You will be removed if you do not request permission first)

** NOTE: This trip may be relocated if conditions, like snow, make this trip unsafe.  (I will not lead it to Sahale if an ice axe is recommended.)

I will only cancel if the forecast is calling for rain greater than 70% and lows lower than 30 deg F.

We will hike at a slow pace, taking frequent breaks - casual photography (without a tripod) is encouraged.  To keep the group together we may opt to have the slowest hiker lead.

We will stop for an extended lunch (~20 minutes - plenty of time for a warm lunch if you'd like) or when we get to camp.  Once at camp we'll eat lunch if we haven't already, set up camp, and maybe hike further on the trail to explore.

The exact itinerary will be discussed closer to the trip but some suggestions include setting up camp, hiking futher to Horseshoe Basin Trail, then back to camp (12.7 miles) and visiting the glacier on Sunday (8.1 miles), or going to camp, then to the glacier, then back to the trailhead Sunday (16.2 miles).

MOUNTAINEERS POLICY DICTATES FOLKS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WANDER OFF ALONE so if you decide to stay in camp to read or whatever, please stay in camp.

We will break camp and head back to our cars Sunday morning around 9am.

** NOTE ** This trip is *NOT* recommended if:
- you like to keep to yourself on a hike and would prefer not to talk to others
- you are awake earlier than 5am and get bored waiting for other folks to wake up
