6:00 AM at Woodinville Park & Ride
We’ll meet at 6 am at the Woodinville Park & Ride on Saturday July 18th and (carpool) drive about 80 miles to the White Pine trailhead on FS Road 6950 --- turnoff is about 14 miles east of Steven's Pass on U.S. 2. Drivers will need a current NW Forest Pass.
We’ll do this three-day loop clockwise.
Day one will be a 9.5 mile hike with 3000’ elevation gain to camp at Lake Margaret.
Day two we’ll hike about 12 miles to camp at Josephine Lake.
Day three (Monday, July 20th) we’ll hike 8 – 9 miles back to the trailhead to hopefully return home at a reasonable hour.
