Easier 3 day backpack Memorial weekend starting at the north end of Baker Lake and hiking the total east side. Saturday hike 5 miles to Noisy Creek camp, Sunday 6 miles to Maple Grove camp, Monday 4 miles to exit trailhead and our shuttle car. Excellent camping, old growth forest, and views of Mts. Baker and Shuksan. Fifteen miles RT, 1000 feet elev gain. While this trip is open to all Mountaineers, it is geared toward B3 students to provide extra skills practice and coaching. As of 5/21 this trip is now open to all for sign-up!

Easy route and pace. We’ll arrange carpools and share tents and stoves to reduce weight. Begin Saturday morning and return late Monday afternoon; bring 2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 2 dinners.  Assume it will rain so bring rain gear top and bottom and a good attitude!
