DESCRIPTION:Trip pivoted to Olympic High Divide - Appleton Pass due to smo
 ke in the Entiat.----\n\nThis very strenuous high-country ramble of 44 mil
 es and 14\,190 feet of gain will take us deep into the high country above 
 the Entiat River\, including camps at Larch Lakes\, Ice Lakes and Entiat M
 eadows\, trail conditions permitting.  Leader permission is requested and 
 recent experience backpacking or hiking up to 10 miles and 4000' of gain i
 n a day and the ability to pack light will be required.  Permission reques
 ts will not be accepted until the trip opens for registration.
