Backcountry Trail Run - West Tiger Mountain 1-2-3

Seven Summits of Tiger 30 Mile Run visiting Tiger 3, 2, 1, Middle, South and Poo Poo Point. Great option for anyone looking for a long distance high vert training run.

  • High Point Elevation: 3,000 ft
  • Pace: 3.5-4 MPH Overall

Plan is to complete the route in ~9 hours, eat some snacks and have some fun.  Fast hiking the hills, and running flats and downs.   

This trip will go even in light to moderate rain. If the rain is forecasted to be heavy and sustained, or winds are high another route/location may be chosen as this route is fairly exposed to the wind/rain.  Leader will update on weather 2 days before scheduled run.

Note: This is a training run for a high milage build week, so we will be keeping the pace to a zone 2 effort for much of the run.

Leader permission is not required, if you have not run with me before, or we are not Strava friends I will likely reach out to ask about running history.  If you do not have a Backcountry running badge but have long distance running experience and would like to go feel free to reach out to me for approval.

Meet at the Cableline Trailhead ready to run at 8:00AM.  No parking pass required if parking on street.
