Backcountry Trail Run - Van Trump Park & Rampart Ridge Loop

One of the most gorgeous trail runs in Mt. Rainier National Park. Long steady climb for great views.

Meet at Longmire in the parking lot near the inn and general store at 7:30am, ready to go by 7:45am. There is a bathroom available here.

Our route is a lollipop from Longmire: we begin by taking the Wonderland Trail, then head to Mildred Point. On the return trip we'll descend the Rampart Ridge trail to return to Longmire a slightly different, less steep way.
