Backcountry Ski/Snowboard - Windy Knob

Trip

Backcountry Ski/Snowboard - Windy Knob

Moderate ski tour with big views and fine glade skiing

  • M2 Advanced Ski
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 8.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 3,000 ft

The Tronsen Basin offers ski terrain and snow conditions different from Stevens and Snoqualmie Passes.  When the weather is clear -- there are spectacular views of the Enchantments.     This tour aim to make laps on the north aspect slopes of "Windy Knob"

I will initially set the roster length to 0 and then after registration closes.   I will populate the roster from the wait-list.   I will give priority to folks that have recently performed stewardship activities and folks whom haven't recently participated on other Mountaineers Backcountry Ski Tours.
