We will proceed for a tour in the Alpental drainage and then go through an instructional activity TBD by participants. Parking is in the lowest Alpental lot at the "Welcome" sign.
Depending on the instructional activity, you may need snow science tools in addition to the required 10 essentials and beacon/shovel/probe.
Leaders, if you're going to a "general" area to ski, please add specific details about the route you have planned and its difficulty. View the Backcountry Skiing Activity Overview page for ski difficulty ratings.
