I don't expect the lot to be plowed at this point,  so that exact spot might not be reachable by car.    If so find a place to park closer too or along  HWY-906

I drive a Blue Honda CRV

There is a substantial storm system inbound this week and it looks favorable to deposit enough snow at Summit West to allow skiing on the ski area runs -- the Summit Crews did a good jobs of trimming the brush over the summer, particularly on the north side of the "Pacific Crest" lift., so minimal snow coverage  is needed.

Since this is the 1st big snow event of the season, there isn't base built up -- so you should expect there to be a higher degree of hazards than in mid-winter  -- e.g. sticks, brush, rocks, open creeks, etc.    So skiing with care is necessary and you should expect at least some rock damage to your skis due to thin cover -- so don't bring brand spanking new gear.

A helmet will be required -- there was already a fatality in Alberta this fall when a skier "bottomed out" on low snow cover and went "over the handlebars"  and tragically struck their head on a rock, sadly with their helmet still attached to their backpack instead of worn on their head.

The weather forecast calls for snow during the day -- heavy at times -- so you will want goggles and well as foul weather gear.   Expect that the snow to be on the damp side.

Hopefully the conditions will be enjoyable for multiple laps.  Each lap is roughly a mile and 800 vft.
