Meet near the Pacific Crest Trail trail head in the North parking lot of the Stevens Pass ski area. Be ready to start the tour at 9:00 am.
Car Pool Location
- Leave the Brickyard Road Park and Ride lot at 7:00 am
- Meet at the north end of the Park and Ride lot
Please complete the following sections of the AIARE field book PRIOR to arriving at the trail head: Avalanche Danger, Snowpack Discussion, Weather Forecast and identify FOUR or more locations where observations will be recorded.
Enclosed is a map of the route. We will return to the trail head by 5:00 pm.
The actual route will depend on snow, avalanche, weather conditions and participants’ abilities. If needed, an alternate, safer destination will be chosen by group consensus.
