5: at Issaquah P&R
Want to test out the first snow at Snoqualmie Pass? Come and join me for some night skiing/boarding. Please note that this is not a backcountry ski trip but we will be staying within the resort boundaries. Meeting Place: 5pm at the Issaquah P&R; based on the number of participants we may also have car pools from downtown and Redmond. After connecting at one of the car pool stops, we will drive up to the Summit and enjoy the slopes. At 9pm we'll gather for some evening refreshments at the one of the lodges and then head back. Throughout the evening, you may ski/board at your own leisure or stay with the group. Items to bring: Ski/snow board equipment, 2-way radio and cell phone Cost: Night ski ticket; for rates check: http://www.summit-at-snoqualmie.com/info/winter/dayrates.asp Obviously this trip will only occur if there is enough snow on the ground and the Snoqualmie ski lifts have opened for the winter season. I will send a trip go/no-go 2 days before the trip to all participants.
