The "other" Red Mtn can provide good skiing when conditions are too stormy at Snoqualmie Pass. Though often the conditions on the lower mtn can be sketchy, the skiing higher on the mtn is often enjoyable.
There are some tight trees and typically thin/crusty snow below 3500 ft -- so be prepared for some "survival" skiing lower down.
