We will meet at the Summit Pancake House to discuss the route, snow and weather conditions, group interest and finalize the plan for the day.
Parking will be at the Silver Fir base area of Summit Central -- or possibly Summit East parking area -- no sno-park required.

Additional Note: A Winter Storm Warning, Extreme Avalanche Forecast from NWAC, Freezing Rain or "Chains Required" on the highway will cancel the trip. If NWAC forecast is for a High avalanche hazard -- inbounds lift skiing will be a fallback option considered.

Required Equipment
- The Ten Essentials
- Boots, skis/snowboard, poles
- Climbing skins (or other method to travel uphill on snow)
- Avalanche shovel (metal blade)
- Avalanche beacon
- Avalanche probe
- In the "Extra Clothes" category -- Please bring a warm enough jacket (puffy) so that you can take a 45 minute "lunch break" without discomfort from cold.
