Mountaineers Mount Baker Lodge, 8:30 AM
From the Mountaineers Mount Baker Lodge, we will climb to Austin Pass, then along Ptarmigan Ridge and ski one of many options from the Ridge as time and conditions permit. The destination is subject to change based on conditions.
Intermediate or better backcountry skiing or backcountry boarding level expected. Skier oriented trip. Splitboarders must have sidehilling experience. No snowshoes. Skins, beacon, shovel, probe required; beacon must be a two or three antenna model.
Leader permission required, which can be obtained by email to the leader.
The Leader will be spending Friday and Saturday night at the Mountaineers Mount Baker Lodge. If you wish to stay at the Lodge, reservations may be made here: https://www.mountaineers.org/about/locations-reservations/baker-lodge
