Let’s plan to meet at Longmire Museum at 8:30am. Gate scheduled to open at 9am
Contingency: If we are not able to meet up before the gate opens go ahead and drive to the Paradise parking lot. We will meet outside the tunnel leading to the restrooms.
REMINDERS: 1) MRNP entrance fee or pass required for park entrance; 2) all cars required to carry chains after November 1; 3) AIARE 1/Avy 1 required.
Plan is to tour up Panorama Point from Paradise. Would like to tour up the Muir Snowfield to McClure Rock area, depending on the group desires, weather and avy conditions. Other alternatives possible. Expect a moderate day with lots of breaks. Must have avy gear and some touring experience.
COVID-19 restrictions apply. Please ensure you are aware of what these are and what they mean for our trip. Except for participants within the same household, carpools are discouraged.
