I expect to meet at the TH at 5:00 or 5:30 for the skin to the summit. Sunrise that morning will be at 6:30 so we will be using headlamps for the first 30 minutes or so.
In terms of climbing pace, trip participants will need to be able to move at a minimum of 1,000'/hr and, depending on the forecast, I would like to get skiing around 11:00/noon to catch corn o'clock. MSH is 5700' of gain, so you'll want to be well conditioned for this trip.
When you reach out for trip leader permission, please speak to this year's conditioning, backcountry skiing experience, and describe your backcountry set up.
We will meet at the Marble Mtn Sno Park the afternoon/evening of Saturday, April 5th and camp at our cars for an early start on Sunday, April 6th.
