TBD with the trip participants. We can meet on the way to Paradise and carpool or rally at Paradise. We'll aiming to be in the queue at the Longmire Gate by 8:45 and begin skiing by 9:30.
We will plan to skin up above Pan Point, perhaps as far as Muir depending on everyone's interest, before skiing down to the east of Pan Point to enjoy some turns on Mazama Ridge down to the road. From there we will skin back up to our cars in the Paradise lot.
Dedicated b/c ski or splitboard required. Decent fitness important too since Paradise is up high and we can gain as much as 5k' if we choose. Participants should be able to skin and ski variable conditions including windhammered and crusts, and be comfortable making shorter turns down on Mazama Ridge.
I will have a few radios to share.
