Moderate paced tour for intermediate sliders to the Jim Hill area. The vertical gain is 3900 feet in 8 miles round trip. The trip should take approximately 8 hours.

Be ready to start the tour at 9:00 am.

 Car Pool Location

Please complete the following sections of the AIARE field book PRIOR to arriving at the trail head: Avalanche Danger, Snowpack Discussion, Weather Forecast and identify four or more locations where observations will be recorded.

Enclosed is a map of the route.  We will return to the trail head by 5:00 pm.

The actual route will depend on snow, avalanche, weather conditions and participants’ abilities. If needed, an alternate, safer destination will be chosen by group consensus.
