Will start from one of the lower Chelan county parking areas and ascent to the base of Diamond Head via the XC-15 ski trail, then depending on snow conditions we will either ascend to the top of Diamond Head to ski NE slope. The top part of this slope is steep and a bit challenging, if snow conditions aren’t favorable for this slope, we can continue on ski trail XC-15 and do the Tronsen Head loop. 7 miles, 2200 feet elevation gain. *** Note *** Due to the Table Mtn fire during September the route may either be very different or not suitable -- depending on conditions an equivalent alternate destination may be used.
