Meet at 6:30 a.m. in Bellingham to consolidate carpools into vehicles with the highest ground clearance for the final rough section of FS road.. Get off I5 at Exit 255. Turn right or east on the Mt. Baker Hwy. (542). Turn left at the first light into Sunset Square. Turn right again and park east of Skagit Bank.
Aug. 19, Wed. – Yellow Aster Butte, (USGS Mt. Larrabee & GT Mt. Shuksan. 8 mi. & 3,160’ elev. gain. We will start early to avoid the morning crowds on this popular destination. Pace will be moderate with breaks for views and snacks. A treat to share is always welcome. Party limit is 8.
