7:00 AM at Issaquah Transit Center Park and Ride

Meet inside the Issquah Transit Center parking garage on the first floor in the Northeast corner at 7:00 AM

Please note that this is quite a strenuous trip, especially if there is much soft snow.

- Snowshoes with agressive points on the bottom such as MSR.
- Avalanche Becon - Recommended.
- Avalanche shovel and/or probe. We should have 4 of each for the group. Please bring one or both if you can
- No crampons are needed.

We will start at Alpental and follow the trail to Snow Lake, then across the frozen lake to the far size, up the ridge to Gem Lake and then up to the summit of Wright Mtn. DIFFICULTY:
The total gain is about 3700’. The 2300' listed above is wrong. The distance is about 9 to 10 miles. Note that the pass at the back of the Alpental Valley is very steep and will be fairly challenging.
