Meet at Eastgate P&R at 8:00am.
We will drive to the Talapus Lake TH. On the way to our summit, we will find a snow slope suitable for practicing our ice axe/ snow skills. Contrary to the "canned" stats for this trip, gain and mileage should be closer to 2950' and 7 miles, respectively.
Non-students are also welcome provided you are comfortable with waiting patiently for students to complete the snow skills portion of the trip and/or if you would like to practice yourself, that would be great too.
