Party members are STRONGLY ADVISED to take advantage of the Seattle Scramble Committee's reservation of the Eight Mile Campground over Labor Day Weekend. Drive over and car camp at the campground on Friday, September 4, and you will be perfectly positioned to get up early and drive a few miles to the meeting area. All party members are invited to camp at Eight Mile CG on Saturday and Sunday nights too. There should be campfires, cookouts, music, and socializing on both nights of the weekend: the various attractions, eateries, and drinking establishments of Leavenworth will also be within a half-hour's drive of the campground.
