6:00 AM at Snohomish County PUD (Everett) or various locations for our southern friends
The Tatoosh range has the south face of Mt Rainier very close by, with a grand view of our most famous mountain. We will access it near Longmire. If the weather on the west side of the Cascades is poor, we may switch to an equivalent snow trip on the east side where the weather is often more reasonable.
If there is party interest, good conditions, and multiple carpools, we can try some of the other Tatoosh scrambles, including Chutla, Lane, Denman, Plummer and Pinnacle.
