6:45 AM at Ash Way P&R
Destination changed due to change in planned opening date of Mowich Lk Rd. Based on weather forecast, difficulty level, and presence of snow for ice axe practice, Vesper seems like a good choice. Albeit in the opposite direction from Seattle. Ash Way P&R; is located just west of I-5, just north of the I-5 and I-405 junction, in Lynnwood: Ash Way & 164th St SW Lynnwood, WA 98037 If meeting at the Ash Way P&R; is inconvenient for you, we will arrange to meet you at the end of the Sunrise Mine Rd around 8:00 a.m. Please contact me if you do not plan to meet us at the P&R.; Go ahead and make carpool arrangements via the clubhouse if you want/need to, and we can pool up further at the P&R; if necessary. This trip is intended primarily to provide 2010 scramble course participants an opportunity to make up the canceled Sunday Experience field trip. Mike Cutcliff is co-leader. Maps are USGS Silverton and Bedal. At this late date, don't freak out about getting the maps if you don't have them. I'll *try* to send out a custom map jpg.
