A gorgeous alpine loop (~5000’ over ~12 miles) with seldom visited alpine bowls. After staging a car at the Comet Falls trailhead for our return, we then continue to the parking area near the Nisqually Bridge for our departure. Our ascent will meander through the area just west of Tato Falls before following a line parallel to, and just east of Cushman Crest on our way to ~8400’ on the Van Trump Cleaver. We will descend through Van Trump Park and pass Comet Falls on our return. Photos from past trips in this area can be seen here.
Various Park and Rides to accommodate attendees, then 7AM at the Longmire Museum for a last use of restrooms.
