Expect a very long day and lots of elevation gain.
Please be in shape for this challenging trip. You don't have to be fast, but need to be steady. Do your research before signing up.
The last 5 miles to the TH is in pretty bad shape. High clearance vehicle needed. Carpooling is a possibility if you have been totally vaccinated and it's been 2 weeks since your last shot.
Like all my trips, it's subject to good weather and safe conditions.
