Townsend Mtn, via this route, is more interesting than its plain name.  Will be a boulder field, significant stream crossing, brush-bashing, slabs, ledges & heather meadows.  Maybe some snow; maybe not.  Eagle Creek is pretty gentle, but could be deep this time of year; sandals or sacrificial sneakers needed for the ford to prevent flooding your boots. Helmets optional; low rockfall hazard on this one.
