Alpine Scramble - Tinkham & Abiel Peaks
Primary peaks: Tinkham & Ariel starting at the Mirror Lake trailhead FR-5480, which is friendly for standard clearance street cars. Circular route ascend southeast ridge from Mirror Lake and descend to PCT from common midpoint between Tinkham & Silver Peaks. (moderate T2/S3, 7 miles, 2958' feet gain) Group decision add Silver Peak ( +2 mile, 300'-ish gain)

8:45am Mirror Lake Trailhead:
Take Exit 62 off of I-90, turn right, drive 1.1 miles, and turn right onto Forest Road 5480. Drive 4.1 miles, going straight at the junction with Forest Road 5483 to stay on Forest Road 5480, and reach a three-way junction at Lost Lake. Drive straight, the middle option, for 2.7 miles to the road's end and trailhead (3,600 ft).

Later season standard approach is Windy Pass, which requires a high clearance vehicle due to washouts on FR-9070 so Mirror Lake TH is street car friendly.
The circular route may have 20-50' of T3 descent assuming we take the circular route back to cars.
