Crystal Lake TH at 8:00 am.

I originally listed the destination as Axis Peak, but the long range forecast calls for very hot weather on the east slopes of the Cascades, and much of Axis is steep terrain open to the sun.  So, I've changed the destination to Threeway, which shouldn't be quite so hot.  If the weather turns out to be cool enough we combine Threeway with an additional summit or two, but if it's hot, we can just do Threeway and for those who so desire, cool off with a swim in Crystal Lake.

I've done this peak a couple of times, and I think the technical rating should be 4 rather than 5.
